The Simple Instruction When Jesus Comes

2 and 3 May 2008, Cyclone Nargis struck Myanmar. 12 May 2008, Sichuan Magnitude 8 earthquake. Disaster! Death! Cries! Homeless!

I questioned God, why?! What is Your plan?

Aren't they clear enough?

[Luke 21:11There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.]

Still not clear enough?

[Matthew 24:7 ......There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.]

Clear enough?

Yes, these signs are happening, He is coming! The Saviour is coming! Jesus is coming!

Do you believe me? Do not believe me, believe what the Scripture says.

Scripture says when all these occurs, these are signs indicating Jesus is coming! WHAO, you heard it? He is coming!

Hey wait, first of all, are you ready for His Second Coming?

Matthew 24:4-11 says "Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.""

Troubles will come upon you!

False prophets will appear, saying they are the Christ. There will be wars. There will be disasters. You will be persecuted, Christians will be. You will be killed, Christians will be. You will be hated, Christians will be. You will be betrayed, Christians will be. Then many will turn away.

But Matthew 24:13 says in one very, very simple sentence "but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."

Yes, it is that simple, so simple that one sentence, no, it is half a sentence, says it all. "Stand firm!". Be strong! Be persevere! Do not turn away! You will be saved!

When all these disasters are happening, this is the only thing for you to do! And it is so simple!

So, are you ready for Him? Are you ready to be saved? Just do one simple thing! He said:" Stand firm to the end!" He also promised:"You will be saved!"

Reflecting my past two and a half years in Li Xin Baptist Church, I can't help but wonder what would happened if I had walked away. It was an easy choice to make, LXBC was at her low point: members leaving the church, some considering to leave, worship team was in a mess, the spirit of worship was nowhere to be found, suspicion among members. I was new in town and working across the bridge. It would have been much easier if I had chosen to attend a church nearer to where I stay and easier for me to practice my faith. Even as I'm writing this, I am so tempted to pretend everything is alright going on in me. As this may be read by people, a great part of me wants to pretend that everything is going alright. But if I am to be real, I need to stop pretending that I am okay with all that comes crashing on me. I think I've been told so many times that I should keep my anger and pride in check, I begin to believe that I have no right to feel angry. I must put up the kind, compassionate, gentle side of me even when within me, my anger rages. I'm supposed to swallow all the "unloading" people give me. November? No, Remember! Part 4

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 5. Project Kwam Wang - Sabaidee, Laos! I don't think I can ever say this enough: Laos is an unforgettable nation, mainly because of the unforgettable journey that God had taken me through. The initial idea was to paint a school building in Vientiane, but imagine our shock when the team saw a building with 2-walled rooms. Instead of complaining, the team quickly came together to lay bricks and cement. 5 days later, we have classrooms with 4 walls and whole school of happy children. The highlight of the trip came later. To catch our flight in Lua Prabang, we took a 6-hour bus ride into Vang Vien, a magical, spectacular heaven-on-earth. The 2-hour tubing experience to enjoy the peace and scenic view of Vang Vien mountain range, the lovely morning breakfast with a morning sunshine and green mountains.
