Although I'm tired of people keep asking the same question, but I'm really glad they did, simply because they care for me, and I am loved. Honestly, I'm annoyed by the question because I am afraid. The foggy obscurity of life beyond university is frightening, I will not deny that. I can have so many plans and I can have so much more failures. It's more frightening because I really want to live according to His will and His direction. But the thing is, He doesn't always break open the Heaven and yell right at me with His majestically thunderous voice.

If you ask me, I don't know. I don't know what the future holds for me. I don't even know if my plans will even work. And yet D-day draws nearer as it comes.

I think that's why I find Pitch Perfect 2 speaks so closely to my heart. Chloe finds graduation such fearful event for her, that she would fail Russian Literature for 3 years to run away from it. The uncertainty if my capability will take me where I want to be is like a darkness lurking in the heart of Beca. And the song "Flashlight" spoke right into what I really needed to hear:
When tomorrow comes
I'll be on my own
Feeling frightened of
The things that I don't know
When tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
Tomorrow comes
And though the road is long
I look up to the sky
In the dark I found, I stop and I won’t fly
And I sing along, I sing along, then I sing along
I got all I need when I got you and I
I look around me, and see sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're gettin’ me, gettin’ me through the night
Can’t stop my heart when you shinin’ in my eyes
Can’t lie, it’s a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're gettin’ me, gettin’ me through the night
I see the shadows long beneath the mountain top
I'm not the afraid when the rain won't stop
Cause you light the way
You light the way, you light the way
I got all I need when I got you and I
I look around me, and see sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're gettin’ me, gettin’ me through the night
Can’t stop my heart when you shinin’ in my eyes
Can’t lie, it’s a sweet life
I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight
You're gettin’ me, gettin’ me through the night
Cause you're my flash light
You're my flash light, you're my flash light
I think even while this song may not be intended for worship, but as I sing along, I find God reassuring me that a life with Him will be a sweet life. Even in the dark where I cannot move nor fly, I can still sing along, because He's my flashlight.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4
God's Character, My Encounter.

P.s. I particularly like Hailee Steinfield's Acoustic Cover. Favoritism?
